What therapy group means here
A therapy group is a facilitated form of psychotherapy in which a small number of people meet regularly with a licensed clinician to reflect, practice new skills, and be witnessed by others working through related experiences. Healing + Renewal’s original program is a six-week therapy group for women ages 19 to 40 who are living with chronic pain. Facilitated by Miriam Klein, LCSW, the group brings mind-body and nervous-system practices together with space to explore the emotional and psychological impact of pain, including frustration, isolation, and the strain of being believed. Confidentiality, expectations, and group agreements are reviewed before the group begins. The group is $950 paid in full or $160 per session. It does not replace medical care for pain, and participants are encouraged to continue working with their physicians. Availability changes, so a consultation is the best way to confirm the current schedule and whether the group is a good fit.

Sessions are structured to introduce nervous-system and mind-body tools while creating a compassionate, judgment-free space for shared experience. Miriam can talk through confidentiality, expectations, payment options, and next steps during an initial consultation.
You can ask questions about fit, privacy, and format before deciding whether group therapy is right for you.
