What couples therapy means here
Couples therapy is psychotherapy for two partners who want support with communication, recurring conflict, trust, intimacy, or a transition that has strained the relationship. Rather than deciding who is right, it looks at the cycle that takes shape between partners, such as one person pursuing while the other withdraws, and the needs and fears underneath it. At Healing + Renewal, Miriam Klein, LCSW, offers couples therapy in Hollywood, Florida and virtually to couples located in Florida or New York. Sessions are collaborative and attentive to each person’s experience while keeping the relationship’s goals central. The work may focus on empathetic listening, repairing after conflict, parenting roles, major life changes, or barriers to emotional and physical closeness. Individual histories, including childhood patterns, are considered when they shape how each partner reacts. Couples sessions are $250 per session, and a complimentary consultation is available to discuss fit.

The goal is not to win the conversation. It is to understand what keeps getting lost inside it.
